A Message from the President

As we get ready for tryouts we’d like to share some news with everyone: Francine McGrew will be leaving her role as Registrar for Idaho Storm Soccer Club. Serving in a non-profit of any kind is work that is fueled from the heart. Francine has given her heart to the kids of Idaho Storm Soccer for her entire tenure. Much of what a Registrar does is behind the scenes. Aside from organizing all the details with GotSport and IYSA (soon US Club Soccer) and handling player and team registrations, she has been the primary point of contact for hundreds of new families interested in joining Idaho Storm. As our club continues to grow, it’s a job that just keeps going and going and going…

So, on behalf of the Club, please join us in offering a huge thank you to Francine for her time and service! 

We are excited to announce that Sharon Snider has joined the Idaho Storm Board of Directors as the new Registrar!

Sharon grew up in Huntington Beach, CA, in an active sports loving family. She has worked as a Librarian at a Pre-K – 8th grade private school and a patient advocate for St. Joseph Hospital. She is currently the Clerk of the Board for the Boise School District.

Sharon enjoys cheering for the Idaho Storm 2008 Boys Blizzard team where her son plays and her husband coaches. “This is such a great group of boys and It’s been an absolute joy to watch them grow over the years. They have become family to us”. She is happiest when she is spending time with family and friends. “I am a people person at heart and am excited about the opportunity to be more involved in the Club and help in any way I can.”

She will be working with Francine to get ready for tryouts and we hope you take a moment to say hello on June 3rd and 4th.
