“The coolest thing about coaching is watching the kids grow together as a team while they learn the game of soccer. I’ve been playing, coaching and reffing since I was 5, and I’m still amazed at the goodness of young kids.
I preach togetherness, self-improvement, respect, and taking two touches instead of one. Every time you step on the field you should look your teammates in the eye and tell them that you are going to fight for them.
Playing in college was awesome, playing in high school was way more fun, but coaching is the best. And seeing Liverpool play under the lights at Anfield is a close second.”

Of course winning and being successful is a lot of fun but we are in a unique position to be able to influence our players lives and that is so much more valuable than anything else we can possibly achieve out here.”
